Diy Table Saw Dust Collection. Jam the tee on the dust chute with the leg pointing down. I closed in the entire base with plexiglas and sealed it up tight.

I have a small (very small) shop in my basement consisting primarily of a table saw and router table (which share a table top) and would like to hookup a diy dust collection system. But that won’t happen often, because the size of dust ports on power hand tools varies. This system can easily collect dust at your table saw, miter saw drill press and assembly table outlet for the power sanders.

When i purchased it there were no good options, but i had a detached 2 car garrage, and inability to hook up to dust collection easily was not an issue.

I also made a drawer in the bottom with a garage door latch so i could empty the saw dust when it built up. Build a table saw station with dust collection that gives stable support for your benchtop saw, and will help keep your shop clean. 95% of the air flow goes through openings in the saw and not through the throat plate where you need it. It works very well and dust collection is excellent however a bit of dust gets under the hood as the blade exits the wood at the end of the cut so i'm going to add the mustache as seen on a couple of designs online (made from door a door sweep).
