I followed the instructions almost exactly, although i used pocket hole screws underneath each rung to attach instead of screwing from the outside in so the screws weren’t visible. Since it is a skinny vertical piece with a small footprint, it can be easily placed against a wall. Creating a blanket ladder diy didn’t seem like it could be that hard so i gave it a try.
